Int., P.C. “The concrete edifice juxtaposed by, swirling, and undulating landscape patterns, delivers a symbolic rhythmic ‘Vortex’ that is ‘Not Like US’.” This unapologetic expression mirrors the survivors’ lived experience/TRUTH, while allowing visitors to engage. Once crossing the threshold of the MLK Drive Entrance, visitors can explore the Timeline; experience the Amphitheater & enjoy a docent presentation; and finally decompress in the 55th Place Exit.” This entire experience happens while being surrounded by a 15,000SF formal & pollinating native garden that is ever changing.
